Smart Cycling Guides

Big shout-out to the CIBA Foundation for supporting our mission for 2025.  We are stoked to announce that we have 500 copies of League Of American Bicyclists "The Smart Cycling Quick Guide".  This is an easy-to-read booklet that outlines the basic rules of the road, the components of a bicycle, and all of the information you need to ride a bike safely and confidently.  We will be handing these out at our future events!

Zoom Webinars

Please join Bicycle Indiana online for our quarterly free online Zoom conference calls about different cycling topics.  We host an hour-long call with a panel of professionals to support and educate our communities.  If you missed the live calls, click below on the recorded calls.  If you have a topic you would like us to discuss, send us an email!

Educational Literature

Bicycle Indiana has a variety of educational and safety literature that is available free of charge, thanks to our members and sponsors.  Whether you're planning a bike rodeo, open streets, safety fair, or summer camp program, look to us to be your leader in bicycle education.

  • Law card - this wallet-sized card is available in English, Spanish, Burmese, and Chinese; know the rules of the road before you ride and as a point of reference when you are riding.

  • Share the Road Brochure - this trifold has information for adults who ride bikes and adults who drive motor vehicles. We can all get along!

​​

  • Bicycle Is Fun - this trifold has been developed for our younger bike riders. It provides information on how to ride safely and have fun!​​

​​

  • Bicycling for Fun & Safety Coloring Book - one of our very popular education pieces, meant for the young and the young at heart. Written & illustrated by local advocate, Tom McCain. Available in English, Spanish, Burmese, and Chinese.

  • Safe Cycling in Indiana - this booklet is full of great information for riders of all ages and abilities. Perfect for both classroom learning and the home, everyone who rides a bike should have this booklet.
